A BRIEF HISTORY
We first hit planet Earth way back in 2002. The first JACK-licensed station started shaking up the airwaves and putting smiles on faces in Vancouver, British Columbia. Yes, that’s in Canada. Since then, over 10 million Americans have come to love the JACK brand, attitude and musical awesomeness. But every JACK station sounds a little different. Because we’re not some one-size-fits-all listening experience. We do what makes the most sense within each unique market.
What Jack Isn't
WHAT JACK IS
WHO LISTENS TO JACK?
Our musical mix does not fall into a traditional radio industry format category. Neither does the audience. Let’s call our approach “Adult Variety.” And let’s say this magical ever-changing playlist is really good at reaching a variety of adults. Lots of them, actually. The kind who have jobs and taste and surprisingly strong purchasing power. Which helps explain why JACK-licensed stations had racked up over $1.3 billion in ad revenue last time we checked.
JACK FM STATIONS
Wherever you go, there we are. That’s the idea anyway. Okay, there are still some places that don’t have their very own JACK station. But we’re working on that. In the meantime, if you absolutely must leave the safety of our coverage zones, you can always stay connected through the miracle of live streaming. See, the internet is turning out to be useful after all.
REACHING ACROSS THE POND
Keen-eared listeners realize that lots of the music we play was created in the U.K. The exotic natives who inhabit these colorful islands have given us so much. Seems only fitting that we’d want to give something back. First, they got their very own version of JACK. Then came JACK 2. And most recently, Union JACK, which keeps winning more broadcasting awards than any other station in England. Seems like a fair trade.
DO YOU OWN A RADIO STATION?
If so, lucky you. So what if we told you we could help you boost your market ranking significantly within the first three months? That’s generally how it works when a normal old station transforms into a member of the JACK family. Yes, we realize that changing formats is a really huge decision, and that licensing a brand is not a move you’d ever approach lightly. But the numbers don’t lie.
