JACKFM is in 50 markets internationally with 15 million weekly listeners.  In 2007, JACKFM launched in Oxfordshire UK and in Moscow and St Petersburg, Russia. There are 5 million listeners outside of North America.  JACKFM has 90 global trademarks and has recently signed territory agreements in India, Mexico, Italy and Greece.

JACKFM is a branded format with localized targeted music variety in an unconventional presentation package that gives listeners a fun, energizing, and connective experience.  

The library size and songs are not the secret. It’s the way we play and present the music within the unique JACKFM persona that really makes JACKFM different and successful.

The music is assembled and presented to attract a coalition of adult listeners that are compelled by the music sets as opposed to an individual song.

We are very concerned that JACKFM may possibly
even disappear in the next 100 years.

It is a strong name that is friendly, instantly memorable and so easy
to pronounce that even a child can say it. Ask any child.

We did not start out thinking “No DJs”, but we soon learned that in North America, listeners
felt that conventional radio DJs were associated with adding clutter to the music.

By not having DJs, we provided a strong point of value and
differentiation to listeners in those markets.

JACKFM is not lacking for personality or talent starting with the JACKFM Persona and Announcer. The JACKFM writing team keeps the station package fresh and topical. JACKFM features character presenters or JACKFM cast members and lots of actual listener audio for local content to keep the station engaged, relevant, and less cluttered.

The best examples of successful JACKFM morning shows include Vancouver, Calgary, and the UK.  Some other JACKFM stations have tried morning shows and have not succeeded. The morning show success stories have the following in common:
